5 Excellent WordPress SEO Plugins To Help Your Website
SEO for your WordPress blog has never been easier due to the amount of free plugins there is available. WordPress SEO is an essential part of building an online presence, let’s face it if no one knows you are there then how do your expect to build traffic or a userbase?
Basic SEO and page tagging comes built into WordPress with use of post titles etc, but stuff like adding meta descriptions, keywords, robots txt files and other on page SEO can easily be structured to your needs without you being an expert coder. Many bloggers can’t edit page code, nor do they know a lot about SEO, but plugins solve this by giving you options to optimize your pages from the dashboard.
Let me show you my 5 top useful WordPress SEO plugins that I have used regularly on projects.
SEO Ultimate
A bit of a bold name, but this plug in really does have a lot of features. I found the first version of this SEO plugin a bit buggy, but they seem to have ironed out a lot of the creases. This plugin allows you to edit pretty much everything from custom meta tags, robots txt, optimize slugs, automatic deep links from your valuable keywords in posts, no follow links, link masking.. You name it, it seems to be in here. I guess it is one of the most feature packed WordPress SEO plugins, and if there are modules within it which are of no use, then you can easily disable them in settings for it. Worth trying this plug in, but it does take a little bit of time to think about what you wish to achieve with it.

All In One SEO
It couldn’t really be a post about WordPress SEO without mentioning this one. Most who develop on WP will have used this at some point, it’s a great fast plug in that does the basics of what is needed to add relevant meta tagging to your pages, and allow you to noindex certain areas like archives to stop any duplicate content issues.
The thing I really love about this plug in is how easy and fast it is to get your pages in shape. Quickly add in your homepage metas, check some boxes of what you want indexed, and hey presto your pages will get found and indexed by Google properly. Yeah it’s not the best optimzation around, but you gets what you pays for in this world, and if you want more there is a PRO version available.
